Safad Map Candle (Brown Sugar Fig)
Safad Map Candle (Brown Sugar Fig)
Introducing our exclusive Palestine map shaped Candle, meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of artistry and heritage. Each candle is adorned with a wooden replica of Palestine's map, imported from Ramallah, Palestine, and carefully hand-poured in Florida.
Our Safad candle in Brown Sugar Fig is named after a city that was once vibrant but is now a symbol of loss and forced displacement. Once known for its rich history and natural beauty, Safad’s past is marked by its once-abundant fig and olive trees.
Blending the fresh, fruity aroma of ripe figs with the warm, caramelized sweetness of brown sugar, the fig scent evokes the lush, fertile orchards that once flourished in the city, while the brown sugar adds a comforting, indulgent touch.

Candle Care Instructions:
-
First Burn: When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge of the container. This ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling.
-
Trim the Wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to promote a clean and steady flame. This helps prevent smoking and ensures the candle burns evenly.
-
Avoid Drafts: We advise removing botanicals and dried fruit from the candle surface to help avoid items catching on fire. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, vents, or flammable objects. Drafts can cause uneven burning and excessive smoking.
-
Burn Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps maintain the quality of the fragrance and prevents overheating of the container.
-
Extinguish Safely: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Avoid dipping the wick into the melted wax, as this can cause smoking or difficulty in relighting.
-
Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or intense temperatures. This helps preserve the quality and scent of the candle.
Following these care instructions will ensure that you enjoy your handmade candle safely and to its fullest extent.
